Demand Energy to sponsor City University of New York (CUNY)’s Solar + Storage Summit, June 21st, 2017 at John Jay College, Manhattan.
New York’s consumers, utility companies, and regulators alike are pushing for pioneering models that create accessible and sustainable revenue streams for solar and storage that can enable true renewable energy independence. All eyes are on New York’s ‘Reforming the Energy Vision’ as we collectively work to create this brave new energy infrastructure as incentives decline and the value of Distributed Generation (DG) energy evolves.
Sustainable CUNY’s 11th annual NY Solar+Storage Summit features a progress update on the transparent steps that the Empire State is taking to transition to a 21st Century Grid. The day will include feedback from utility company leaders and feature a ‘Distributed Conversation’ with installers and decision makers. The Smart DG Hub team will highlight the new program to educate municipalities and vendors on how to get solar+storage deployed, as well as the state-wide effort to streamline the installation process for the rapidly growing storage sector.
